Medical
CCHC will provide all typical primary care services for both pediatric and adult residents. This
will include, but will not be limited to acute care for minor injuries and illness, management of
chronic disease and other ongoing health problems, provision of recommended immunizations
both child and adult), well child examinations, well woman examinations, well man examinations,
child and adult health screening services, prenatal care for routine (non-high risk) pregnancies.
CCHC will also develop a mobile unit that will serve to bring critical health screening services and
immunizations as well as some disease management services to many of the outlying and remote
communities of Caroline county. Other possible uses for this particular venue include mobile
dental, optometry and podiatric services.
Education
Providing accurate and timely health information to our clients is a critical part of the mission of
the CCHC. This will be done through a variety of means, including printed materials, computer
based learning, and personal instruction.
Counseling
The CCHC will have on staff a full-time family counselor. He or she will provide Christian based
counseling services for the entire family, when indicated. Referrals will be primarily from within
the CCHC, but not exclusive.
Spiritual
An important part of the mission of the CCHC is to provide access to local Christian ministries
who are directly interacting with the residents of Caroline county and who are providing
assistance, consistent with purpose and mission of the clinic. The CCHC will partner with these
ministries through referrals and word of mouth. |
